billis Inventive sound combinations without any digital fingerprints, surprising directions, and the synthesizer- somehow this album was made now, but I half-expect to see a smiley-face sticker on the sealed plastic that reads "Caution- EXPLORATION may be corrosive to your preconceptions man." Yeah, far-out stuff. Favorite track: Simple Machines.

When did they board up all the storefronts? we could use another bar in this town Why did they lock up all the box cars? Free and easy, bring everything you own Ridin' the rails wherever Hangin out with the dregs Sure, you might end up a cripple But who really needs two legs? I guess what I'm trying to say is: When's the last time you went on an adventure? All the misery around me With people living in a warm, wet cloud With every perk of modern living It really only serves to better bring you down Gotta go to school Tell everybody how you feel Bitch and moan and cry About stuff that isn't real I guess what I'm trying to say is: When's the last time you went on an adventure? I mean one for real Now I understand the concern Nobody wants to get hurt or get killed Surely a life without adventure Is a life that I would say was never lived So maybe take a day off Go outside and hitch a ride Go somewhere you ain't never been Never know what you might find All I'm really trying to say is Whatever happened to adventure? Why don't you tell me that? Whatever happened to adventure? And will it come back?

Plowhorse 04:30
My horse is strong, he's a trooper for sure But for advanced old age, there ain't no cure Some folks would shoot him I love him like a brother, don't you see? Though his senses are weakened and his muscles decayed, he's got a funky spirit that just won't fade He told me "Ringo, get yourself a plowhorse, one to take my place in the field" He said "Ringo, get yourself a plowhorse and make it a good harvest this year So I took him shopping, and I wanted his opinion With our budget placed unrealistically at a million But every single time that I made a selection He'd say he "ain't worthy" to even look in your direction But when I found one that tickled my fancy He'd just say "ain't doin' no work, just looks too dance-y" But Ringo, get yourself a plowhorse Cuz' I won't always be in the field Yeah Ringo, get yourself a plowhorse And take in a good harvest this year I said "that's what I'm doin!" He told me "Ringo, find yourself a plowhorse" "One to take my place in the field? "Ringo, I wanna be your plowhorse! I'll do your dirty work for free!" "Ringo, let me be your plowhorse! Why don't you ever talk to me?"

Every night at 11 or so when everyone's safe at home Those who dare to roam are greeted with something existential And what a sight it is, when nothing is quite functioning And all the bells they do ring for problems electrical I am steel, steel wrapped in a pink trap, I'm here For your pleasure Don't wait for me to make my move My move is pre-determined But I feel like you want me to The traffic lights all go out and then the city sleeps so sound And then all the hounds come out and bay to the moon in response In response to the glaring lack of man-made light And from Hogan on to Hammond, no stop is safe from splendor And everyone surrenders to the void Wrap your arms around me and see if you can feel my insides Guess my model number But I love like the real thing You are so simple Such simple machines

When the tower fell, the wires snapped, weren't fastened well From the streets rang out no wild cry, no screams of pain How can they say that we don't believe in anything? When the truth is loud and clear But the weight of that long spire up above Gave em' a new reason and took away their fear Out of spite someone offered to tear it down, set it alight And the drones, they laughed and had a smile, they paid the half Noone winked an eye as a lone star lit up the night Flightless insects heard the sound Below lay in the city, under rock and stone A bountiful feast of cigarettes and coffee grounds Time rattles the chains That rusted long ago All we've done and all that stands Can't stand alone Metal hit the grass, no water route, no creatures passed Just an opening within the woods, didn't hurt a thing Holes were forming up and down into the wood, each crawl with iron centipedes When it rolled into a stream yet undiscovered they heard its signal cry out " what business have you here?" Time rattles the chains That rusted long ago All we've done and all that stands Can't stand alone

Y'know they say a lot can change in a war when you've got a bugler down And now they tell me that it's time that I go and find that man But I don't want to What has he ever done for me?
